Can I disable WinSAT?

In theory, disabling the WinSAT application will not affect your computer in any way. The task scheduler is set to run WinSAT after a set amount of time. If you disable the task from there, the application will not be called and executed.

Should I delete WinSAT?

In general, it’s safe to delete anything in the Temp folder. Therefore, modifying the files in C:\Windows\Temp will not affect anything. However, viruses will be disguised as a benign EXE file (such as WinSAT.exe). In case, I suggest you conduct a full malware scan of your PC.
