Do you need a reservation to hike in New Hampshire?
NH State Parks is using a reservation system at most day-use locations during the main operating season. A limited number of walk-in spaces are available at each park. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be admitted on a first come/first-serve basis.
Are dogs allowed in NH State parks?
Pets are prohibited at all state beaches, picnic areas, and historic sites. Pets are not to be left unattended in any vehicle, camper, carrier, or enclosure at any time. Each pet shall be on a leash, under control, and attended to at all times while in a park.
