He was buried alongside his wife Eileen in the four-acre grounds of Hopgrass Farm House in Hungerford, Berkshire. His mahogany coffin bore his zookeeper’s cap – his Animal Magic trademark. After Eileen’s death in 1989 Morris is said to have visited her grave each evening to tell her about the day’s events.
